If You Give a Cat a Cupcake by Laura Numeroff Read Aloud
Here is a fun read aloud about a silly cat! After you listen to the story can you add sprinkles to the cupcake worksheets (math)? What would your cupcake look like (draw/ write)?
Today was our first day of SCIENCE at TLC! We had a great time getting to know one another. Next, we read a book that talked about what Scientists do. Then we talked about how Scientists use their five senses (seeing, smelling, hearing, touch and taste). Finally, the fun part, we used some science manipulatives to talk about what we could learn about in science using our five senses. Next week we will be experimenting using the 7 steps of the Scientific Method. I can't wait!
