Oobleck!

Image
For Fun Friday in Science this week we read the story of Bartholomew and the Oobleck, a Dr. Seuss book (also- a Caldecott Award winning book). Then we made oobleck by mixing corn starch, water and food coloring. We used the skills of writing a hypothesis, using descriptive adjectives to describe the consistency of the oobleck and overall made a huge mess!

January in Science

This month in Science we will be focusing on Earth! Today we did an introduction to land forms and discussed how land changes over time. We talked about glaciers, volcanoes, earthquakes, mountain formation and deposition. We brainstormed ideas then finished by writing and drawing about it!
